Maze Cards to supply smart card modules to Guj govt

An exclusive supplier of raw materials and technological advanced machinery for smart card manufacturing, Maze Cards India Pvt. Ltd. plans to now supply modules to Gujarat government for driving license smart cards. The company is in talks with the Gujarat government for supply of modules or chips used in the driving license smart cards. Sensex ends up 35pts While so far the modules were being imported, once the new tenders will be issued soon, Maze Cards India plans to supply indigenously manufactured modules to the next contractor. Associated with several national level projects in telecom, financial and loyalty markets, Maze Cards India is involved in number of e-governance projects such as e-passport for India, the Multinational Identity Card for India (MNIC), the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) and the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY). In Gujarat, the company is also eyeing potential smart card projects including toll-roads and metro rail, apart from an increasing requirement of credit/debit cards and PAN cards, said Doshi. Maze Cards India also supplies products like magnetic data tape, signature holder and smart card printing machinery for such projects. Moreover, the company also offers consultancy and premium and economical solutions for their clients Having pegged a turnover of Rs 17 crore for the financial year 2008-09, Maze Cards India is aiming at a growth rate of 150 per cent, thereby setting up revenue target of over Rs 40 crore for the fiscal 2009-10.
